I started this blog to empower and motivate women to improve their health and wellness.
We all know sometimes it is extremely difficult to step out of our comfort zone. Not to sound cliché but progress only happens when you step out of that zone!
Where on earth do you start?
When searching online, there seems to be a sea of endless information out there! Sometimes life can get overwhelming, that feeling is far too familiar to me. When life throws obstacles at us combined with constant daily stressors it may feel impossible to achieve anything. Undoubtedly, we have ALL been there!
A few years ago, I lost all of my motivation. I had moved to a new city, quit my job, and had to start from square one all over again. My confidence took a hit and with a recent anxiety diagnosis, I felt defeated!
Finally, I reached a point where I said enough is enough! I realized that I needed to make some changes in my life in order to be successful.

What you should know is…
I started my fitness journey being overweight as a teenager. I quickly found out that working out was my happy place. It was needed for my mental health more than anything.
I became obsessed with how the gym not only led to amazing physical changes but it significantly helped my well-being.
Working out taught me:
- discipline & consistency
- how to be humble
- not to compare myself to others
- how to overcome all obstacles, which I applied to my everyday life
Fast-forward to the present…
I am now a passionate, coffee-loving mom of two toddlers and I can proudly say that I am the healthiest that I have ever been.
I am a fitness-addict turned Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and concentrations in health sciences, psychology, and medicine.
I am excited to offer you evidence-based information to help you be the healthiest version of yourself you can be.
There have been so many points in my life where I thought because of my life situations, I could not grow.
I want to help women avoid that mentality.
